Welcome to the class! Among your first courses, Rights and Responsibilities focuses on ethical and behavioral standards within the chiropractic profession. Students enrolled in the Rights and Responsibilities course will use this blog to share viewpoints and perspectives based on their consideration of specific situations and cases.
Each week, a brief case or situation will be presented on the blog. Working in assigned five-member teams, students will review and discuss the case (via email, face-to-face, FB, cell, etc.) to share their opinions and rationale. One member of every team will be assigned each week to take a turn summarizing the group's input and posting to the blog.
The resulting online interaction is intended to encourage and enrich student understanding of professional standards and responsibilities. In posting comments, students are expected to offer mature commentary, reasonable rationale for opinions, and respect for others' viewpoints.
